Vertical Consultants is proud to announce that it was able to garner the City of Lexington, Kentucky, a replacement rooftop lease with T-Mobile. The new lease replaced the previous existing agreement, which had allowed for T-Mobile’s use of certain portions of the City’s downtown administration building. The new lease will deliver an over 128% increase in rents paid compared to those paid under the previous agreement, and moreover, the ability to potentially share in the increasing value of the site to T-Mobile.
As important as the increased revenues to be generated, the new lease will include better and more flexible overall terms that will both protect the City and, at the same time, allow the City to better adapt to the ever-changing circumstances that may occur during the long-term nature of the agreement. Ultimately, the new lease will provide additional revenue that can be used by the City to fund necessary programs that will afford services to its residents and will give the City options that were not present in the prior agreement.
